SO we are into race season as there are mulitple races every weekend.  Here are some of the latest results, I hope I did not miss anyone:

KAL RATS:
John Smit:  1st age and 4th overall
Shannon Willford:  9th age group
Judy Lloyd"  3rd in age group

Mr T's Triathlon:
Sierra Kristianson:  1st age/2nd overall
Eric Byram:  5th age group
Cordell Dickie:  1st age group
Adam Retzer:  2nd age group

Kamloops KOS Triathlon:
Cordell Dickie:  1st age and overall

Seattle Half Marathon:
Wendy Henly:  "I had a great race and felt strong and push hard to the finish"

CriticalSpeed Racing Dominates Junior division at Race the Ridge Stage Race in Maple Ridge over the weekend
CSR Gord Minaker wins overall title with 1st place in Time Trial, and second in both Road Race and Critierium/Circuit Race.
Former CSR athlete(past 2 season) Scott Harrhy places third overall with 2 wins in Road race and Criterium/Circuit race and 5th in the Time Trial.

Great Job to both as this was their first cycling race other than local time trial events. 

Cycling Events for Kelowna

City wide events hosted by Chainline Cycles, Kelowna Cycle, Fresh Air Experience and Cyclepath.

Time Trials: Tuesdays May 4-August 10 on Old Vernon Rd(next to Coca Cola Warehouse)
                                         except June 22 and August 17 which are Hill Climbs at Knox Mountain

Criterium:  Thursdays May 6-August 19 at end of Jim Bailey Rd, Lake Country

Sign on(ALL EVENTS):   6pm-6:15pm
Race Start:   6:40pm

COSTS:  a) All participants MUST have a COBRA Club membership  $15(available on site) and a Race Licence from Cycling BC of either
                           Citizens Licence  $42(this will be the one for most of you) or UCI Licence $130(this is only required if you are looking for "points" thru cycling
                           BC events.

                 b) plus a $5 race fee every race to cover costs of professional flaggers and equipment etc
